Grading Policy

Grading and evaluation serves to stir the talents and gifts the students have received from God for the purposes of nursing work and administering healing according to the anointing of the Holy Spirit.  Letter grades are used as a measuring device to indicate the performance level reached by the student within each course. Final grades that have become part of the student’s record are turned in by letter.  The possible grades and their meaning are:

A  – Excellent

B  – Good

C  – Average

D  – Below Average

P  – Passing (Pass/Fail System)

F   – Failure

I    – Incomplete

W  – Withdrawal

Grade Point Average

A minimum grade point average of 2.0 must be maintained for the Undergraduate level and 3.o for the Graduate level Degrees.

A  = 90-100 (4 points)

B  = 80-89 (3 points)

C  = 70-79 (2 points)

D  = 60-69 (1 point)

P   = 4 points

Transfer Of Credits

Transfer of credits from Christian Nursing College to other institutions is at the discretion of the receiving institution.  Transfer of credits into Christian Nursing College will be evaluated based upon official transcripts sent directly from the issuing institution. Grades must be “C” or above.

Refund Policy

A student must notify the registrar in writing within three (3) working days from the date the student signs an enrollment agreement in order to cancel the contract and receive a full refund of any tuition or registration fees paid.

If a student who has started a year’s course of study finds it impossible to complete the program, no refund is given; however, he/she may take a temporary leave of absence by completing a Temporary Leave of Absence Form and be granted the privilege of completing the program at a later time within the same academic year.  Non-attendance does not automatically initiate leave of absence and will result in class failure.
